Alpine Black Truffle

We harvest our truffles on Ashfield farm at 1000m. This high altitude location produces a truffle aroma and taste which has been identified as intense. Our Périgord truffiere was planted in 2008 and has been producing an wonderful truffle for many years.

Truffle seasons are always unpredictable. The weather over the entire growing season of the truffle plays a huge role in the yield. To much rain or not enough during the growing phase is as important and the sunshine and ground temperature during the short harvest period. We always recommend making contact with us prior to May to secure your desired quantity.
